ROOT RIVER ARCHERY 15TH ANNUAL 3D CLASSIC
THE 15TH ANNUAL OUTDOOR 3D CLASSIC
Each year, Root River Archery partners with Racine Instinctive Bowmen (RIB) and holds the best 3D Archery Shoot in Wisconsin during the month of June. This event comprises a total of 56 arrows on two different walk-thru-the-woods courses with multiple shooting stations on the beautiful grounds of Racine Instinctive Bowmen.
The shoot takes place on the first weekend of June (both Saturday and Sunday) - this year June 3rd & 4th, 2023; with registration running from 8AM-3PM on Saturday and 8AM-3PM on Sunday. There are divisions that encompass all type of archers of all ages including Cadets, Juniors, and Adults..
Seminar/Clinic - On Sunday June 4th, from 10AM-3PM, there will be a Saddle Hunting & Climbing Sticks demo available. Friends of Root River Archery will be present with different examples of saddle hunting gear from Cruzr, Latitude, and Tethrd. Stop in and try it out - you may find you can get to that previously "impossible-to-hunt" spot!
Awards - Are available to winners within the divisions based on the 3-6-9 system. All Cadets and Juniors receive acknowledgement for participation in the event in the form of medals commemorating their scores.
Novelty Shoot - There is a chance for each Adult, Junior, and Cadet to participate in a novelty shoot with the appropriate skill level achieved.
Food/Bar Service - Throughout the weekend, the bar is open for business as well as the kitchen. Great food has always complemented a great range environment. The amount of participants can range from 125-185 in any given year, whether in good weather or bad. PRIMITIVE CAMPING IS AVAILABLE!
Door Prizes - Raffles are conducted during the weekend with door prize winners announced every hour during the shooting period. Check at the registration table prior to leaving or between the two range events to see if you were a lucky winner!
